"Flys-Off Fly Repellent Ointment

The ointment rubs in clean on my horse's ears and stays put for hours instead of flaking off like sprays do. Flies quit landing on those spots within a day, and a little goes a long way with how thick it is.

I was skeptical about the ointment texture at first, but it glides on easy and doesn't leave my horse's coat greasy. Flies stopped landing on his ears within a day, which is honestly the only thing that matters to me.

My dog actually lets me apply this without a fight—the ointment goes on smooth and keeps the flies away during our afternoon hikes. Just a little dab on the ears and face did the trick for the whole walk.
