Took this on a weekend hike and my dog actually settled down in it instead of squirming the whole time. The carrier feels sturdy enough for a 15-pound pup, and I like that it counts as a backpack so my hands stay free. Genuinely glad I grabbed it before our trip.
The tan color looks better in person than in the pics, and my dog settled into it pretty quickly on our first trip. Only thing is the straps dig in a little when it's fully loaded, but for shorter outings it's fine.
The tan color is exactly as pictured and the main compartment fits my 12-pound dog comfortably for short trips. Only wish the shoulder straps had a bit more padding for longer walks, but for car rides and vet visits it does the job well.
